2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (NET) “Therefore we do not despair, but even if our physical body is wearing away, our inner person is being renewed day by day. For our momentary, light suffering is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison because we are not looking at what can be seen but at what cannot be seen. For what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal.”
Wherever we are in life, whether we are living a fulfilling life or a desperate day-to-day life struggling to maintain sanity, from one extreme to another there is a path for anyone who chooses that has great rewards here and eternally. This life must have a diligent steadfast commitment to reading God’s Word and a persistent prayer time to download our direction.
Think about God and our Christian faith. No other God describes the Creation of all things concerning man, where we come from or where we are going. No other God clearly explains what is good and what is bad for a man, his family and others around him. No other God claims the people who believe in Him as His children. No other God created an eternal dwelling place for His children to be with Him. No other God gives outlined instructions on how to live life on earth to ensure and secure an eternal future with Him and no other God gave up His life so His children could be with Him now and eternally.
Jesus Christ is the Word of God and has come into His creation to suffer for all the sins for all mankind. He became a man and lived a sinless life to fulfill all requirements of the law for His children. He paid in full every person’s debt so that they may dwell with the fullness of their God eternally if they so choose.
Look at God’s response to mankind’s sin in Hebrews 2:14-15 (NKJV), “Inasmuch then as he children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.”
We are FREE! Free from sin, free from the grave and free from hell! You see Jesus didn’t just die for our sin, He rose from the grave securing salvation to anyone that believes the history of God for man, the Bible!
Having believed we know that “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.” Ephesians 1:13-14 (NKJV)
And now more than ever before we see signs of His return for His children as prophecy is playing out before our eyes. Holy Spirit is revealing God’s plans to us for our passing from this life to eternity. Time as we know it and experience it will soon be changed, eternity is at our door knocking.
Rise all who know the Truth, tell everyone the way to eternal life. Tell everyone that Jesus has risen!
