“For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” Philippians 1:21 (NKJV)
“Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.” Proverbs 13:12 (NKJV)
Too many people live life without purpose, on a journey just passing through with superficial goals. Many have a hit or miss mentality, with no direct aim or desire. But this type of life cannot bring real satisfaction or fulfillment. Real satisfaction or fulfillment come from having a goal in life that pleases the Father.
Again, your number one goal should be to live your life to please the Father, and live your life to bring Him glory. You will not be a spiritual person only when the mood hits you; your faith will remain constant even in your greatest of trails. A life with Christ, means a life of Christ.
If you live for Christ, He will be alive to you and you will know the joy, peace, and happiness of a life poured out before God—a life with purpose. Living for Christ means committing your mind, body, soul, and spirit to Him. Accept the greatest gift ever given, the gift of God in your life and allow Him to live through you. Then for you, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
