Gift of time
By Kelly Mouisset
The past two years have been a journey of self-discovery and learning how to embrace life fully. I attended several “Growth Challenge” seminars through The Kitchen Table Counseling and Life Coaching office that allowed me the opportunity to find my true passion, helping others. With my new-found purpose, I enrolled in their Life Coaching Certification program to learn the skills needed to help others move their desires from dreams to reality. In October, I began the last part of my training, the internship. Myself, and over twenty other amazing men and women, are embarking upon the community and offering over 2,200 hours of free life coaching sessions to those who aspire to experience life a little deeper, overcome something that just has them “stuck,” or just need someone to hold a place for their hurt, grief or anger.
Coaching is not counseling, it is helping you find what matters most to you, identifying blocks that keep you from getting there and helping you find ways to move past them. All of us could use some coaching in life to get to the next level of ourselves. Having someone who wants to see you succeed, make breakthroughs and encourages you to continue on your journey is powerful. A life coach helps you see where you want to head and how to get there in a healthy way.
If you want to take advantage of these services and help all of us complete our certification program, please give me a call or contact The Kitchen Table at (337) 889-0221 to meet with any of the Life Coach interns. Romans 12:8 says, “If it is encouraging, devote yourself to encouraging others. If it is sharing, share generously. If it is leading, lead enthusiastically. If it is helping, help cheerfully.” Come to the table and let us encourage, share, lead and help you through whatever you are dealing with today.
