I will trust You
By Julie Esta’
Have you ever lifted your eyes and hands to Heaven thanking God for your pain? Why? Because if it weren’t for trials, we’d never become a better version of ourselves. We’d either become so stagnant or self-absorbed without the polishing fire of adversity.
Whether it’s a self-inflicted or outside source trial, we can always become a better version of ourselves, if we embrace it as a gift. Be honest, and thankful. “God, I don’t like this. God, this hurts. BUT I trust you. Reveal to me what you want to polish. Thank you for loving me, holding me, and helping me to shed off areas in my life that are not of you and don’t serve you.”
God sees all and many times, we don’t recognize the areas God wants us free from, simply because that’s how we’ve been raised and what we’re accustomed to. Remember, we are HIS children. He wants to “raise” us in order to RAISE us! Thank God for your pain—the trials are gifts that serve His purpose for your life. Romans 8:28!
