A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity. ~ PROVERBS 17:17
The friends you keep have such an influence on your spiritual life. Friendship with godly people will help speed you on to a successful life of victory, while fellowship with those who are ungodly will bring you down to defeat. 1 Corinthians 5:9 says, “I wrote you in my previous letter not to associate with (ungodly, impure) people.” So, if you want to walk in the the things of the Lord, don’t choose friends who walk in the things that are evil, people who talk and act ungodly, who don’t give God any place in their lives. They’ll pull you down.
It’s hard to find your way in the dark…keep the light (Jesus) on. Jesus is light and in Him there is no darkness at all. As you entertain the ungodly, you’ll expose yourself to temptation. You’ll get so familiar with sin it will start to appear enjoyable to you; but it is short lived.
Make the best of your time in school and stay true to who you are. Be your original self and a true friend will not try to influence you to do evil.
