A foundation of faith & education
Petite powerhouse of purpose
My name is Anastasia Stevens and I am your 2019 National American Miss Louisiana Pre-Teen. I will be representing our State in Anaheim, California for Nationals in November. I’m a 7th grader who loves fishing, traveling, going to church, and bible studies.
I’m also a member of a Christian rap group with my siblings, and we’re called 7Stevens. We encourage kids our age through the positive and uplifting music we create. We attend many different types of events at a broad range of locations to perform. I plan to become a lawyer, and own my own law firm. I also want to open a family homeless shelter. My life goal is to help as many people as I can, just like Jesus did.
I won this year, and right before my name was called, I begin to cry because in that moment, God told me I won. Then I heard my name, and I just thanked Him because for the last five years, I’ve entered this pageant and now finally have the crown. I know God has plans for me on this new journey.
When you think of NAM pageant, don’t think ”beauty pageant.” NAM is a pageant with purpose. It teaches lifelong lessons like: public speaking, interview skills and you can build lifelong friendships.
Mission of NAM is “To encourage America’s future leaders and equip them with valuable life lessons skills.”
“When God gives you blessing, it’s your choice to use it!”

Perseverance and victory to inspire
Normandie Alise Cormier
Every morning, I wake up happy, knowing God has blessed me with another chance to help change the world. Diagnosed at two with multiple chronic immune system issues, at one point, doctors were clueless how I could lead a decent life. When doctors gave up on me, God did not!
Hi, I’m an 18-year-old, award-winning social entrepreneur, youth activist, motivational mentor, and international scholar, recognized worldwide. I graduated from both high school and college on the same day, and received 139 college acceptances, including five medical schools, and $9.4 million in scholarships! My journey hasn’t been easy, but never did I doubt the amazing path God set for me. I believe nothing is greater than my faith, which has helped me to push through everything, when I had nothing left.
Raised humbly and homeschooled by a single mother with strong faith in God, she taught my younger brother and I the importance of God first, purposeful connections, being grateful, and how to use social entrepreneurship to help others grow in faith.
We struggled but were rich in faith, which allowed me to overcome years of aggressive bullying and adversity to become an inspirational leader awarded by three Presidents, and to launch four community youth initiatives. Hoping my story inspires others to set higher goals, trust God, and follow their dreams!
I will attend Xavier University of Louisiana in the fall as a pre-med student. I plan to become a surgeon, humanitarian, activist and voice for underserved communities.
