   After 37 years in the legal profession, I stepped out in 2012 to pursue my passion! I love serving others and feel that helping them achieve their goals towards their real estate investment is my reward. I was born with salesperson genes! My father was a car dealer for about 60 years and 5 out of my 6 brothers followed this path. These past years have been an incredible journey and have allowed me to form a team of incredible Realtors to ensure continued customer satisfaction, allowing us to service all of the Acadiana area and provide service on a high level.   

  

   Last year Keller Williams designated me as a Mega Agent, which in turn allowed me to open the first Mega Agent office of Keller Williams in Opelousas. Our team (Lana Soileau & Associates) operates from both the Opelousas & Lafayette locations. Real estate has allowed me to dream big and fund my first love which is giving! Each year our team works on fundraisers or on projects to give back to our community, in addition to our Red Day, which is a day of community service that Keller Williams does yearly.  

   With COVID last year, our Red Day was confined to our local neighborhoods, so our team headed up a drive for the residents of John Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home. These sweet residents and staff were hit hard by COVID and it was on my heart to provide some joy to them. The drive consisted of collecting puzzles, crossword and word finder books, coloring books, small radios, and numerous other items so that the residents had recreation while being confined to their rooms. With the help of our fellow Realtors and various vendors, we truly made an impact! Our impact is sometimes on a small scale, such as school uniforms, new shoes for school kids, gifts for nursing home residents without family, etc.  

   As to real estate, our goal is to help each customer obtain exactly what it is they are looking for in a real estate transaction, and we believe that communication is one of the most important tools to a great business relationship. It’s not all about sellingit’s about developing relationships and giving all clients a 100% commitment to fulfilling their real estate dreams. With my team, you are treated like you matterbecause you do!
